About Me

Meet founder and chief of Sicily wedding. Alessandra was born in Palermo and educated in Palermo by Jesuit high school. Daughter of an Austrian mother and Sicilian father, she inherited passion for travel and fashion. She graduated in History of Art and started to travel around the world. She spent 3 years in Canada working in fashion and tourism, and then decide to move back to Sicily and starting a new life having a nice little boy. In this period she worked in several hotels in Cefalu’ area as Quality Expert in organizing events and weddings.

On January 2000 she decided to open Sicilywedding and offer to strangers couples the service of destination wedding planner that was at that time totally new in Italy. Her love for Sicilian art and hidden touristic locations moved her to create special Sicilian wedding packages proposing a different Way to get merry in Sicily. Her favourite area is the Madonie Park, where little villages offer today a nice quality of life. From 2000 to 2022 she personally planned and coordinate more than 200 wedding in all Sicily, with couples coming from around the world, mostly English, European, American, Japanese and Chinese. Whether it’s a small wedding or a big villa wedding in Palermo for 300 people, what sets Alessandra in her unique to her planning and creative inputs keeping always in mind her customer budget and preferences.

She knows the best wedding locations and can help in suggestion you why one location is preferable than another one. She loves the ocean but spend lots of time around the Madonie mountains, this means she loves Nature and all real stuff. She continues to discover fantastic locations for the perfect wedding and love to spend time in details and decorations. Alessandra is very open mind oriented and enjoys to plan always different style of weddings respecting the couple dreams.
